The Westin Georgetown Washington D.C. Morning Itinerary
For the guests taking a vacation from work and school, but not taking a vacation from life. Who are looking to take it all in and experience all that Georgetown and the D.C. area has to offer. There is not a moment to waste, especially those early hours.
8:00am - Breakfast: Our Georgetown DC hotel is the perfect place to refuel before a day of exploration. Head down to the M Street Grill for a breakfast that is sure to get your day started out right. Try something from their SuperFoods that will energize you for a day of sightseeing. Or if you are looking to get out of the hotel try some local restaurants near Dupont Circle or the main street of Georgetown.
9:00am - The National Mall: The National Mall is only one mile long but there is a number of historical attractions to see, appreciate, and explore. Home to nations most famous memorials the Lincoln, Washington, Vietnam, WWII and Korean War. If you would rather ride, check out the different tour options with the hotel concierge. Before you leave may want to grab a quick bite from a local vendor or plan head a pack a lunch.
12:00pm - The White House and Old Post Office Pavilion: Finish the after with a visit to the White House and the Old Post Office Pavilion. A trip to the world's most popular address, 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue, has to be on every visitor's to do list. Home to the 1st family and decades of history. Last stop needs to be the Old Post Office Pavilion Clock Tower to get the 360 degree view of all the Washington D.C. area. Also stop by the shops in the Pavilion before you head back to the hotel.
3:00pm - Kick Back: Check back in the in-house lounge for a relaxing evening.
